SHAUNSGAMES
Atmosphere-first games built in Unreal Engine 5.
Small studio. Big, unsettling worlds.
The first game.

Protocol: Robot
A first person psychological horror game about one full workday at a warm, pleasant, aggressively branded robotics corporation. You will clock in. You will do your job. You will not remember any of this.
CLOCK IN →Games where the world is the mechanic.
No combat loops, no content treadmill. Places worth paying attention to, and the slow realisation of what they are.
Atmosphere first
Lighting, sound and space do the storytelling. If a room feels wrong, it is wrong on purpose.
Patience is rewarded
The players who look twice, wait around and read the fine print find the real game underneath.
Horror through understanding
Nothing chases you. The fear comes from figuring out what is happening, and who it is happening to.
Take five. Insert coin.
BYTE, the studio robot, is off the clock. Four games, one robot: outrun the crates in Break Room Run, ship full rows in Crate Stack, power the grid in Cable Run, and squash bugs in Bug Squash. Hit the target score in all four and a secret fifth game unlocks. Every game keeps its own high score on this device.
